Mission Statement

of VeteranHelp.net

Mission & Program #1:
Is to supply an easy ONE STOP website that all Military Veterans and those that are serving in the Military Active Duty/Reserves, plus the National Guard can use anywhere, and at any time, to search for and find EVERYTHING we can think of that will help them and their families.

Such needs as: Housing, education, medical, employment, mental health, furniture, legal help, child care, transportation, and everything else we can think of to help.

Many of us who are military veterans did not have a source to help and support us when we served in the military and even less help when we left the military. That is why we have chosen to build and supply this website.

This website has no costs, fees or charges, it is 100% free to the veterans using it. Our volunteers are not paid, they donate their time to help build, maintain and update this website.

By clicking the veteran’s mouse on different button links on this website, eventually the veteran will be linked to the correct website they are searching for and need. This will help them connect with an organization that can help them with their specific needs.
Only organizations who are willing to help Military Veterans, Military Active Duty/Reserves and National Guard Military with no costs, fees or charges of any kind are included on this website. Our website will not be the middleman, we are a free search website linking veterans and military directly to the organizations that will help and support them, we also do not charge any costs or fees to any of the organizations on this website.
Mission & Program #2:

Is to donate a working vehicle to as many veterans as possible that are in need of a vehicle for free. This vehicle will be used to go to work in, to transport their children to and from school/activities, to bring their family to medical appointments, etc. The veteran only pays for the vehicle’s registration and insurance.

Mission & Program #3:
Is that we completely donate fish tank equipment and set up for local veterans with PTSD, TBI and other trauma for free. Years of research have found and proven that having and caring for fish has a calming effect which helps to relieve stress and anxiety, helping veterans with mental health issues. Our unpaid volunteers will bring the donated fish tank and fish tank equipment to the veterans home and set it all up for them for free. With the understanding that after the initial setup, the disabled veteran is fully responsible for all future care and maintenance of the fish tank and fish equipment.
We feel that these programs greatly enhance the lives of local military veterans and their families, and it also gives individuals, businesses and the community a chance to show their appreciation, support and give back to military veterans who have given so much to our Country.
These programs are being run by volunteers that maintain and run VeteranHelp.net and is sponsored by aka SMR which is a 501c3 Veteran’s Charity. Your donations will be tax deductible using SMR/VeteranHelp.net’s 501c3 Tax Deductible Charity ID: #46-2207164.

Please donated what you can and help us to succeed in our Mission,

Michael L. Emerson
Founder and Chairman of VeteranHelp.net/SMR
